Biologos Essential Oil Sage 10ml SAGE – THE PLANT OR Clary Sage or Clary Sage. Scientific name: Salvia Sclarea. Description: Aromatic plant with a fluffy stem, 10 – 120 cm tall, with heart-shaped leaves and white, pink or blue flowers. Origin: Europe, in wild or cultivated form. SAGE – THE “ORGANIC” ESSENTIAL OIL Technique: Extracted from the tops of the plant’s flowers by steam distillation. Composition: Contains Linalool Acetate Ester (approximately 75%), linalool and beta-pinene, substances that give the essential oil its beneficial properties. Smell: Sweet, mild, floral and a pale, almost transparent color. Country of origin: France PROPERTIES Powerful antimicrobial, antiviral, antioxidant, antispasmodic. COMBINATIONS With essential oils of Bergamot, Lemon, Pine, Geranium, Oregano, Sandalwood, Frankincense, Lavender, Jasmine. CONTRAINDICATION CAUTION. Do not swallow.
